The bold challenge to build a culture of life has re-awakened the vocation of Brother with new meaning and vitality in the Church. Our call impels us to be a fraternal, side-by-side presence to many persons who have never known a wholesome, brother-type relationship in their journey toward personhood.
In likeness to Christ, we are motivated to give love for non-love, surprising others by asking, “What do you want of me?” instead of “What’s in it for me?”
The rebuilding today of a culture of life which respects the inherent dignity of each person demands uncompromising dedication, fraternal caring and deep faith. This bold challenge ignites us to respond.
